I have the pleasure to be the invited photographer at the “Rencontres Imagesnature 2014” in le Vaudioux the beautiful Jura (France) from 26 to 27 April 2014. This festival is an other opportunity to visit the exhibition – Meles & Co. , showing 15 large format photos of the European Badger.

The “8e Rencontres Natur’images” take place in the charming village of Tignécourt in the french Vosges (88) from 5 to 6 April 2014. On this occasion I will show my badger exhibition – Meles & Co.

In the 2013 Nature’s Best – Windland Smith Rice International Awards, my photo of the three badgers under the night sky was “Highly Honored” in the Mammals category. The exhibition of the winning images and a selection of highly honored images will be on display in the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in Washington DC in 2014.

Gran Paradiso National Park, December 2013.
Back from a two week stay in the USA, I traveled through several National Parks in California. A highlight for any photographer is definitely the “Home National Park” of Ansel Adams.
The photo shows Half Dome over Yosemite Valley at sunset.
I am just back from the GDT Nature Photography Festival in Lünen and I am very happy to announce that my photo “Badgers under Starry Sky” has been awarded “Highly commended” in the Mammals Category.
From 11th to 20th October, 2013, I present my exhibition : “Meles & Co. rencontres autour d’un terrier” displaying 15 large format prints of the European Badger in the Palais Provincial at the Festival Nature Namur 2013.
Moreover, I will talk about my recent work in a presentation at the Canon Belgium stand in Acinapolis Cinema on Saturday 12th October at 5 pm and on Sunday 20th, 2013 at 3 pm.

I’m happy to announce that my photo “Badger Dream Scene” has been awarded as “Commended” in the Animals Portraits category in the Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2013 competition, organised by the Natural History Museum in London. I’m also glad to see two friends; Jonathan Lhoir and Jérémie Villet with commended images in the competition, see you in London…
